How are guest data and Turkish data-protection law handled?
Ordering asks the guest for no account and no personal data; the table session is short-lived and specific to that table. Analytics cookies load only with explicit consent. The menu content and the prices belong to the restaurant.
Whose account does an online payment land in?
Straight into the restaurant's own merchant account. Each restaurant enters its own iyzico/PayTR keys; RopaDine never collects the money in its own account. That is what keeps us outside the scope of Turkish payment-services law no. 6493 — we are a technology provider.
What if I am required to issue a fiscal-register receipt?
For bills paid by QR at the table, the e-archive invoice is issued by the restaurant's own legal entity through its own integrator account. If the guest insists on tapping a physical card, you take the register to the table: the device prints the receipt and you close the bill with “External POS”. If you have marked the counter device as a fiscal register in the panel, no e-archive invoice is issued for those payments, so the same sale is never documented twice; if the device is a plain bank POS, the e-archive invoice documents the sale. If you want the amount to reach the register on its own, the fiscal register (ÖKC) add-on does that; it goes on Service or Complete and is optional.
What about contract length and price increases?
You can stop the monthly subscription whenever you like. Paying a year up front locks the price for 12 months and adds 2 months free. On a monthly plan the price may change at most once a year and by no more than the Turkish consumer price index, announced at least 30 days ahead. You can get an unconditional refund within the first 14 days.
Is setup charged, and what does on-site setup cover?
Remote setup is free on every package. On-site setup is optional, 12.000 ₺ + VAT, one-off: menu entry for up to 150 items, image optimisation, 20 custom acrylic QR stands, on-site installation and one hour of staff training, priority support for the first 30 days. Extra stands are priced per unit.
If the internet drops, is an order lost?
No. Every order and event is written to the database in sequence; when the connection drops the screen reconnects and replays what it missed. The real-time layer is only an accelerator, never the source of truth.
